Become an advocate.
Interested in mental health? Want to help end stigma on our campus? We know you have special talents and we want you on our team. How will you get involved?
Member.
In order to run all of our trainings, put on great events, and make sure mental health is a hot topic on campus, we need your help!

We are looking to recruit just about everyone wanting to pitch in and become members of Rethink.

As a Rethinker, you will be a part of the Campus Y, UNC-Chapel Hill's social justice hub, and have the opportunity to network with amazing professionals and mental health advocates in our community, as well as hone your skills in everything from graphic design, publicity, media, web design, fundraising, public relations, finance, event planning, and pretty much anything else imaginable.

We can't wait to meet you!
Storyteller.
Rethink is looking for storytellers!
As part of our training a storyteller shares their experience with mental illness as a means of putting a face to the issue and raising awareness. It’s an incredible way to get involved in the cause and it can be an amazingly empowering way to join the work.
To be a storyteller you DO NOT need prior advocacy or public speaking experience, just the desire to share your story and be a part of our training.
The only requirement to be a storyteller is to have attended a Rethink training.
If you are a member, facilitator, or rethink supporter that is interested in the role or have any questions please email us at rethinkclp@gmail.com.

Facilitator.

Rethink Facilitators commit to leading a number of trainings a month during the academic year and receive special preparation in mental health issues in addition to other benefits. Their job is to guide training participants through 4 hours of interactive exercises, encourage them to be vulnerable, and enable an environment of acceptance and honest discussion.
